We do not provide or offer any insurance. You are responsible for 100 % of all liability, damage or loss whether or not caused by your negligence while in possession of the rental. This activity comes with high risks of serious injury or death and you assume all risks associated with this activity. You are responsible for the cost of all damages/loss of vehicle as well as loss of revenue. Damage or replacement costs are determined by manufacturer’s List Price at the time of the incident. The party that rented is responsible for replacement cost for the unit if the unit is stolen while rented.

More than 72 hours notice - Full Refund minus $50 admin fee.
Less than 72 hours notice - No Refund
To cancel your reservation, you must notify us within 72 hours prior to your scheduled reservation time. You must contact us during normal business hours. Emailed cancellations will not be accepted. If you are a “no show”, you will be charged the full rental amount. Please understand, we have to reserve each rental with a unit and a date. After we make that reservation, we are not able to sell the date or that unit to someone else.
You may return rental early but are still responsible for your full scheduled reservation amount.
We do not require a large security deposit on our rentals. We want to keep our rentals affordable for everyone.
Yes, We see a lot of inexperienced riders rent from us. We’ll take extra time to make sure you are comfortable and confident.

Side by Sides: 25 to rent, 16 to drive, minimum passenger age 3.
Boats/Jet Skis: 25 to rent, 18 to drive, minimum passenger age 3.
Snowmobiles: 25 to rent, 16 to drive, minimum passenger age 3.
Side by Sides: Although it may be warm when you pick- up your rental, the weather will often get quite cool as you climb in elevation. Layers are recommended.
Snowmobiles: Snow Suite, gloves, hand warmers, goggles, and recommend taking a backpack with water, food, thermos.
Boats/Jet Skis: Wet Suit Bottom recommended and PFD life jacket. Sunblock and pleanty of drinking water.
Side by Sides: No crocs, no flops. Well-fitting, durable footwear is recommended with side by side rentals.
Snowmobiles: Snow Boots
Boats/Jet Skis: Up to you, barefoot is fine.
Colorado weather can change without notice, be prepared.
Side by Sides: Colorado trails are dry, dusty and rocky, so eye protection is HIGHLY recommended.
Snowmobiles: Eye protection is HIGHLY recommended. Goggles or riding glasses.
Boats/Jet Skis: Eye protection is recommended. Riding glasses of some sort.
Absolutely yes! Protect your skin! Increase in elevation puts you closer to the sun and you WILL burn faster! Wether you are on a side by side, snowmobile, boat, or jet ski you will need sun screen to protect your skin.
Having extra food and water is always a great way to make sure that if you get lost or stranded you will be prepared.
UTV: With the mountains bringing adverse terrain and ever changing weather the only thing you can do to prepare it to OVER prepare for your adventure! Bring extra clothing to keep warm and dry in (dress in layers), bring sunglasses to shade your eyes from the bright sun (goggles are available with every rental), waterproof and breathable rain gear, closed toed shoes are required (do not wear sandals to ride), take water and food (better safe than sorry), maps of the area you are planning your trip, sunscreen for the high elevation sun rays (they can be brutal), first aid kit, driver’s license and insurance.

Accidents do happen, being prepared for minor medical issues is recommended.
You will be deep in the National Forest, off grid, and out of touch with the world. I do suggest winter cloths if riding in the winter. In the spring, summer, and fall, I suggest a jacket, sunglasses, water, snacks, and a camera.
We ride year-round, no matter what the weather is. We don't offer refunds due to weather conditions but do offer a voucher that can be used at a later date.
In short, no. One person from your party must pay for one entire machine. If you want to split the cost, tell your friends or family members to get some cash and pay you back. Please understand, legally we can not split the cost in our system or on the contract. Picture it like renting a hotel room. The same rules apply.
Winter: Call or book online a day ahead of time. Spring: Call or book online a few days ahead of time. Summer: Call or book online at least a week, if not 2 or 3 weeks ahead of time. Fall: Call or book online a few days ahead of time. Holidays: Call or book online at least a week ahead of time, if not sooner.

You will be riding in rocks, so it is possible. Please be smart about how you drive in these rocks. As for the damage: You will be charged a tire replacement fee if you did not select tire insurance. We do not use tire plugs.
30 minutes prior should give you enough time. We will go over the rental with you and answer any questions you may have. Please fill out the electronic waiver(s) prior to your arrival to save time.
9am-5pm, 8 hours is considered a day rental. 1 day minimum rental, we don't offer hourly rentals. If you do a multiple day rental you keep the rental overnight.
Yes, If you rent for multiple days in a row you just keep the unit overnight and return during business hours on last day of rental.
Yes, we are an offsite rental company and rent trailers so you can tow your rental to a location of your choosing. If you don't have means of towing a trailer we do offer delivery.
Boats: All boat/jet ski rentals are already on trailers and are included with the rental. If you don't have means of towing a trailer or aren't comfortable launching a boat we do offer delivery.
We are an offsite rental company. You are responsible for picking up the rental and returning it. We do have trailers available for rent for the side by sides and snowmobiles. The boats and jet skis are already on trailers and are included with the rental. If you don't have means of towing a trailer or aren't comfortable launching a boat we offer delivery.
Side by Sides and Snowmobiles: You can take it on any approved UTV or Snowmobile trail you want except Black Bear Pass and Poughkeepsie Gulch.
Boats/Jet Skis/Paddle Boards/Kayaks: You can take to Ridgway Reservoir or Blue Mesa Reservoir.
If heading to trails south of us around Ouray, Colorado we prohibited the following: Black Bear Pass and Poughkeepsie Gulch are prohibited in all rentals.
No, we are an offsite rental company. You will need to pick up your rental and return it back to the Top Edge Montrose Colorado location. If you don't have the means of towing a trailer, we do offer delivery.
